Drink in the sights and smells of Old Kuching at its bustling bazaars with their exotic spices and colorful merchandise. Day Trip to Bako National Park

Discover a gorgeous rain forest just an hour and half away from Kuching’s city limits. Your adventure begins with a longboat ride that takes you to Bako National Park. Home to several rain forest ecosystems, this tiny peninsula region is bursting with a veritable cornucopia of geological features, plants and wildlife! Bako’s distinctive coastline is worth exploring, as are its well-trodden jungle trails, forest-covered hilltops and quiet stretches of cloistered beaches. Bird lovers are sure to have a field day spotting the vast variety of exotic species. Sukau, Kinabatangan River

Sukau is a tiny fishing village and a rare pearl situated off the usual tourist track. Tucked along the Kinabatangan River, Sukau offers glimpses of Borneo’s rainforests and swampy marshland. Wildlife enthusiasts and bird lovers alike will have much to admire in these jungles of Sabah. If you are lucky, you will see herds of Pygmy elephants as they bathe and play along with the river, catch orangutans in their natural habitat, and a host of other primates native to the jungles as they swing by the thick canopy of trees. Discover Borneo’s native proboscis monkeys, and flocks of exotic and colorful birds. Don’t forget to feast on the region’s fresh river catch and luscious jungle fruits!

En route Activity Visit to Sepilok Rehabilitation Center

Explore the Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Center where you can admire a playful bunch of apes swinging from branch to branch. This center is home to orphaned and injured orangutans who are nursed and trained to re-enter the forest. The best view of these magnificent apes is from the feeding platforms, where animal caregivers feed them bananas and milk twice a day. Wander through the tall industrial trees in Borneo’s forest and experience its rich, tropical flora and fauna. Spend time at the outdoor nursery, where infant orangutans are taught how to survive in the wild. You will be chuckling away as you watch these hapless babies being taught to swing and climb trees. Stop by the Bornean Sun Bear Conservation Center, to observe the smallest bears in the world, which are native to Malaysia. Included Activities at Bilit Adventure Lodge (3 Days/2 Nights)

Explore the Kinabatangan River and maybe spot an orangutan in the wild during this two-night adventure. Arrive at Bilit Jetty and check-in at Bilit Adventure Lodge. Settle into your room before enjoying a relaxing afternoon tea at around 1530 hrs. Afterwards, your nature guide will give you a short safety and orientation briefing. Then, take a river cruise on the Kinabatangan River, the second longest river in Malaysia and the longest river in Sabah. Keep your eyes open for wildlife on the banks and in the water. There are plenty of birds to see too. Return to the lodge for dinner. Get an early start the next morning with a sunrise river cruise at 0600 hrs. This is the best time to spot wildlife as they tend to be more active before the day warms up. Spend an hour on the water before returning to the lodge for breakfast. Following your meal, you will have free time to explore the area around the lodge. Keep a pair of binoculars handy and pay attention to the trees around you. If you see any of them shaking, that could be a sign of a wild orangutan or silver leaf monkey. Later in the morning, your guide will take you on a jungle walk through the riverine forest and tell you all about this ecosystem. Head back to the lodge for lunch. Rest in the early afternoon, then make your way to a house in the village for tea and a glimpse into local life. Return to the lodge and go out on your second river cruise of the day. Navigate a different section of the river and look for more wildlife. In the evening, have dinner at the lodge. Check out in the morning and continue on to your next destination. Explore the Kinabatangan river, in the rainforests of Borneo! After lunch, it’s time for a serene speedboat cruise upriver to the Sukau Rainforest Lodge. Keep your eyes peeled, as the shores teem with rare avians. You might even spot the elusive Bornean Pygmy Elephant. At Sukau Rainforest Lodge, you’re welcomed with a cool drink and warm hospitality, before venturing out on the first of three boat safaris. Each boat sports an electric motor, allowing for intimate yet discreet viewings. Return to your plush room for a sumptuous buffet and slumber. The following morning, a pre-dawn wakeup call allows you to witness the awakening rainforest, followed by a visit to Kelenanap oxbow lake for more wildlife sightings. Two Night Program: Embrace Nature’s Abundance

On your arrival at the Lahad Datu Airport, embark on a 2.5 hours’ drive, including 2 hours on a gravel track, to reach Danum Valley Conservation Area – a paradise of regenerated pristine rainforests. Once you have checked in to the Borneo Rainforest Lodge, set out on the Nature Trail and Canopy Walk to familiarize yourself with the area. The afternoon is spent at leisure with the promise of a sumptuous dinner followed by a thrilling guided night safari. On your second day, wake up to the call of the wild and watch hornbills fly as you trek to Kadazandusun/Coffin Cliff, an ancient burial site. Kuala Lumpur City Tour

Discover Kuala Lumpur’s rich history on this guided tour. Start with a visit to the National Mosque (Masjid Negara), with its modern construction and umbrella-shaped roof. Pay your respects at the War Memorial, or Tugu Negara, dedicated to the soldiers who lost their lives in both World Wars. The memorial was designed by Felix D Warden, who also designed the Iwo Jima Memorial at Arlington, Washington DC.
